All universes converge after death.

The One After has selected one Grim Reaper from each universe to ferry that universe's souls through the dangers of Purgatory and into the eternal embrace of the Afterlife.  

You play as mRtyu, the Grim Reaper from our universe, but you have grown tired of the never-ending journeys to a place you are forbidden to enter.  The One After has promised you a promotion after 100 more successful trips to the Afterlife.  Meet Grim Reapers from other universes, lend the souls of the dead your power to defeat the horrors of Purgatory, and finally earn your promotion.
